1. I will be respectful to all clients, regardless of race, creed, social status, gender or sexual orientation. In return,
I expect the client will understand that my language arises from a certain religious, educational and life background; any
philosophical differences between myself and the client that arise as a result of explaining astrological theory are to be
accepted as is.
2. I will provide the highest quality service in a positive, encouraging and timely manner. In return, I expect the client
to allow reasonable turnaround for projects as this is not my primary source of income.
3. I will read only charts of those who give me express permission to do so. Parents or legal guardians requesting information
on a minor will be an exception.
4. I will treat all information given to me for analysis and obtained through a chart reading as completely confidential –
not to be shared with any persons except those for whom the client gives express permission. The client is free to disseminate
the information as they see fit. In return, I may ask to use positive feedback under initials or pseudonyms as testimonial material.
5. I can not be held legally or otherwise responsible for actions taken by a client based on the information provided. The client
is under her own free will at all times.

| How Do I Receive a Reading? |
Please note: I am not a certified astrologer. The Astrological Federation of America (AFA) and National Council on Geocosmic Research
(NCGR) have certification programs, as do many individual astrologers, but there is no current standardized certification. Furthermore,
astrology is as at least as much art as science, and it would seem odd to ask a composer or sculptor to be “certified.”
Services:
My services are available in two modes: consultation and report.
The reports are very structured and defined for those who want to know exactly what they're getting for their money. Rather than list
them all here on the website, I have created this menu here from which clients may choose a report.
Reports come in both written (PDF) and audio (MP3) varieties and are delivered by email so there is no shipping cost or delay from my
mouth or fingers to your ears and eyes. Furthermore, all of my reports are personally written - no computer-generation! - in a correspondence
style, so the information comes across as simply and intuitively as reading a letter from a friend.
Clients may also request consultations. A consultation is much more freeform - the client and I simply talk about whatever the client feels
the need to talk or get insight about. Consulations can occur over two different media as well:
Skype Internet Phone Service – Clients with a microphone attached to their computer may request online chat sessions via Skype concerning
specific questions. Skype also accomodates text chatting for those without microphones. This is a wonderful method of communication as
it allows me to record our discussion for the client and limits the amount of extraneous personal information passing between the client
and myself. Visual accompaniment will be done through Vyew.com's free desktop sharing capacity
“Land-line” Phone Call – We arrange a time for the consultation and you call me at (252)55-RYVEN. I can record the call freely through Google voice
and send you the .mp3 for your later review. If long-distance calls are a problem, I can call you and record the conversation as well, but this is a privacy issue for many. The previous $5
recording fee is no longer applicable!
Payment for consulatations is based on length of discussion time and irrespective of content:
1. Half-Hour: $40
2. Full-Hour: $80
3. Over 1 Hour: $35 per additional half-hour
4. By-the-Minute: $1.25/min, 10 minute minimum
Payments:
Once you have received your work, whether it is a report or consultation, you will have the opportunity to evaluate it for
clarity, accuracy and helpfulness. If you are unsatisfied with your work, you owe me nothing. Otherwise, payment is due after the work is received.
I prefer Paypal, but will accept money orders and personal checks. You can also pay by credit card through PayPal without having a PayPal account
if you wish to use your credit card.
Since I am just starting out on my professional career and hold a regular 9-5 day job, my services are less expensive than you may find for other
practitioners. It also allows me the flexibility to take more unorthodox forms of payment. I am very open to bartering - if you're short on money,
but have a skill or item of some worth and are interested in a reading, let me know and we'll work something out. Items I will almost certainly accept
as payment for astrological work include:
- restaurant gift certificates, PlayStation 2 or Wii games, jewelry for my wife, out-of-print board or card games
Charity Case Readings:
Each month, I put one of my reports up as a "Charity Case" reading. This means that the written report (.pdf) is 20% off the normal
price listed in the menu above. The recorded reading can be obtained by donating an amount of money equal to 80% of the normal recorded reading
price to one of the charities listed below. Simply send me a receipt or some other proof of donation along with your reading request.
